2019 was a fun year. With the rise in popularity of electric vehicles Palatov Motorsport partnered with Cascadia Motion to produce a monster electric race vehicle. Capable of producing 1 megawatt of power and being 4 wheel drive there were high hopes that we would be able to challenge some records. I learned a lot about battery electric vehicles, battery electric drive integration and all of the challenges and benefits associated with battery electric vehicles. This experience also made me really enjoy the efficiency of an electric race car. No revving engines or fuel to worry about, just make sure its charged, roll it out of the trailer and off you go.

By now the lead up to race day is a pretty well practiced exercise. We ran into some challenges with the new suspension design which tripped us up a little bit but otherwise the car worked great. Here the Brock and Chris from Cascadia Motion do so
